Adaaran Select Meedhupparu is accessible from Malé Velana International Airport either by a scenic seaplane transfer of approximately 45 minutes or by a 30-minute domestic flight followed by a 40-minute speedboat ride.
Seaplane Transfer Information
Seaplane transfers are arranged by the resort based on the international flight arrival details provided in your booking reservation. You will be transported on the first available shared seaplane. Upon your arrival at Malé Velana International Airport, our representative will meet you outside the arrival hall holding a paging board with your name, assist you with your luggage, and guide you through the seaplane check-in process. The check-in counter is conveniently located within the arrival hall.A short bus ride of approximately 10 minutes will take you to the seaplane terminal, where you will wait in a designated lounge area until boarding. The seaplane flight itself takes approximately 45 minutes, bringing you directly to the resort.
Important Information
- Please ensure your international flight arrives before 3:00 PM, as seaplane check-in closes at 4:15 PM.
- Your international departure flight from the Maldives should be scheduled after 9:00 AM to ensure sufficient transfer time back to Malé Airport.
- Seaplane transfers operate only during daylight hours, from sunrise to sunset.
Domestic Flight Transfer
The resort arranges your domestic flight based on the international flight arrival details provided in your booking reservation. Maldives domestic airlines operate both during the day and at night, offering greater flexibility for late arrivals. The domestic terminal is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the international arrivals area. Please note that a waiting period of 1 to 4 hours at the domestic terminal may occur, depending on flight schedules. The exact departure time will be confirmed and communicated to you after 18:00 on the day prior to your transfer.
